Peer Review Process

The journal employs a single-blind peer review process, where the identities of the reviewers are kept confidential. All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous evaluation to assess their originality, validity, relevance, and potential impact on the broader readership of JBCS.

The peer-review of a manuscript is a strictly confidential procedure, and reviewers are expected to maintain the utmost discretion. Reviewers must refrain from divulging any information related to the submitted manuscript to external parties or the general public without first obtaining explicit permission from the Editor-in-Chief or Section Editor.

It is important to note that special issues and conference proceedings may involve distinct peer review procedures, which might include the involvement of Guest Editors, conference organizers, or scientific committees. Authors contributing to such projects can obtain comprehensive information about the peer review process upon request from the editorial office.
